Isn’t today Chocolate day? We girls wait all year to be treated right on these days, don’t we? Honestly though, I never celebrated Valentine’s Day. Don’t think I’ve been a spinster all my life; I have had my share of lovers but none have ever believed in V-day. So every year I buy myself a fresh bunch of roses and a box of chocolates (love Twix) and enjoy a rom-com in my cozy bed.

But this year I have a date planned and I gotta dress my best for my first V-date! So I spent hours of scurrying through my closet and have boiled down to 3 looks that I could wear on 14th Feb. Call it an outfit inspiration, a look book or just helping your girl choose her outfit, we are doing this now. So let’s get to the deets!

LOOK 1

This one is a semi formal yet fun ensemble. Wide trousers are my life and wearing it on my special day will mean me oozing in confidence with my fav pair of pants. We break down all the business vibes with this one shoulder asymmetrical top which I think shows of my assets perfectly (my neck and my shoulders). I would call this a perfect outfit if I am not going to show much skin but still look stunning. Do you think this makes the cut?

LOOK 2

It’s Valentine’s Day, so how can we forget the go to red dress! I am not a major cleavage person so higher necklines please me. This dress is one of my favourites and I will never pull this on out unless it’s a special occasion. The dress hugs my body perfectly showing off an hourglass shape. Going for a perfect fit is always important, especially if it highlights your best parts. For me this outfit is also a win with its extra flap that smoothes out any junk food ponch I developed this month. What do you think about this guy?

LOOK 3

We have reached the final one. One of the cosiest outfits ever! This a brown silk shirt-short set and I can never point out a remark on this one because it is so perfect. I wanted to not look like I am in my PJ’s so I added a gold belt around the waist to break the flow. There isn’t much needed in this outfit as the minimal fashion will win my guy’s heart. Guy’s love when a girl looks effortlessly pretty. I still don’t know guys which one is THE ONE. Help me out here.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my three options and wish you choose the right outfit for me. Have a lovely Valentine’s Day with your man, your friend, your family or even alone. Remember it’s always going to be your day and no one else’s so make it big! See you soon with a new post.
